Jubilee of Catechists

Gathered together in the presence of the Archbishop of Malta, Monsignor Charles J. Scicluna, all the catechists of the Archdiocese — coming from various Catholic communities and movements — will celebrate the Jubilee of Catechists during this Jubilee Year of Hope, on Wednesday, 12th November 2026 (6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.), at the M.U.S.E.U.M. Auditorium in Blata l-Bajda (Ħamrun).

During this beautiful celebration uniting all catechists, they will reflect on their call to this ministry, enlightened by the reflections of our shepherd. In addition, several catechists will briefly share their personal experiences. We will also meet adults who have journeyed through the catechumenate. These meaningful experiences are meant to be a source of hope for all those who serve the People of God through this vocation.

The celebration will conclude with a moment of prayer in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist — the joy and sole reason for our hope.
