Music is a language that harmoniously joins with prayer, as the artistic tradition of the Church throughout time truly attests. This same language unites our individual voices and stories into one communal prayer. Therefore, for this Jubilee, a hymn was composed by Pierangelo Sequeri with a title that recalls the theme of the Jubilee events: Pilgrims of Hope.

It is a hymn that touches on several themes that awaken hope within us, including creation, fraternity, God’s gentleness, and hope in the destination of our journeys.

The Church in Malta and Gozo is publishing the Maltese version of the official hymn of the Jubilee of Hope with the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope.’ The text was translated into Maltese by Francesco Pio Attard and sung by the Gozo Diocese Choir.
